Really Right Stuff

So I bit the bullet and decided to build my new setup. The first piece that arrived is the quickshoe and the L plate for the 5d2. I was curious how specific each of the plates were to the body they are stated for. I have a 5d1 back up so I popped the L plate on it, for the most part it fits. because of the placement of the remote trigger, the L plate will prevent its use on the 5d1 and the power switch is a tad harder to get to. Besides that its a pretty good fit.
