On a whim I placed an order for a WhiBal grey card. Taken on the same day within minutes of each other. Just used AWB for both shots at the time of taking it. In Photoshop I didn't change the color balance on the left shot and on the right shot I used the white balance tool on the card. Slight differences, is it worth it?
